Southard Fire Dept. No.1

Early this morning we participated in the South Monmouth LDH Pipeline with other agencies within the South Monmouth Chiefs Association. On 4/21/18, Spring Lake was host to the South Monmouth LDH “Pipeline” task force drill. Spring Lake’s engine and ladder, along with 11 other companies, flowed water around Wreck Pond. This task force is one of only a few in Monmouth County that deploy with the purpose of supplying large amounts of water to a fire from faraway distances.
